Crazy Beautiful: A Bitter View of Love

Sometimes great love exist in crazy situations. Drastic as it is, LOVE having no fixed definition extends its meaning to extremes. Some define love so pure as it is in the Holy Scriptures and some define it as something directly proportional to the impurity of their pervertedness. This state of love being so relative made it sometimes (no..it’s most of the time actually) irrational---definitely crazy.

“You will never  know what you can do when you’re in love.”, they always say. Some became virtually stupid. So obsessed of their fantasies (love stories in novels), they turned themselves into dreamers (people who successfully merged “dream world” with “real world”). Because of this strange phenomenon,  dreaming while awake became possible, day dreaming at night occured and unusual smiles happened. I call this the Rough Knee’s Syndrome.

Some experienced states of analgesia. They became martyrs and endured pain for love (I’m not sure if it’s really love). Some resulted to desperate measures. They attempted to end their lives (sometimes other people’s lives). And they claimed they did it in the name of love. Hard to believe but true.

Try to find yourself:

  •   “I waited more than six years for nothing. It’s okay, I still love her.”
  •  “His girlfriend is taller than me, prettier than me, and he loves her more than me. I’m still hopeful.”
  • “It’s okay to be number two. It’s next to number one and better than number three.”
  •  “Patience is a virtue. I waited nine years what’s another five?”
  •  “I’m hoping that one day she’ll wake up and love me finally.”
  • “It’s not love if it’s not her.”
  •  “He said he loves me more than his grlfriend. I did believe him.”
  •  “My heart is breaking everytime I see him with my bestfriend.”
  •  “He said he changed because of me. After one year I’ll surrender my virginity.”
  •  “Last week he texted me as if I was his girlfriend. This week, It’s heaven if he’ll text “hi”.”
  •  “He’s cheating but it’s okay because he said he loves me.”

The human brain functions 24 hrs/day, 365 days/year, until you fall for someone. I think this explains everything.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah...
